I'm back from my travels this past week. I was off down to Toma's wedding which was in a great 1,000 year old church in Devon near Exeter - right down in the 'toe' of England.
We caroused, cooked, ate and laughed for five days - with great friends from University, some of whom I hadn't seen in five years. Everybody is doing cool things as we all knew they would and we all got on brilliantly. Not everyone could make it (travelling with Kids etc) but there was critical mass for copieous reminisence.
It is amazing how little people really change - and reassuring indeed. The wit and sparks flew and I was reminded again what a challenge it is to bring partners into such a circle.
I also got to solve the question of what the hell Fiona was doing at ETCON earlier this year. She works with the BBC and is preparing their jounral/socail software site for release. Cool stuff.
So I have hangover and a cold but a smile in my heart.
