I had a lovely experience yesterday. I posted a gift which was a little heavier than a normal letter (it was in fact a book). Measured at the regular letter rate it would have been £9 but the lovely lass behind the desk asked me if it was a gift.
Which it was.
Happily I was informed that I could send it for £4.50 in that case - same delivery speed and all. Lovely international postage system subsidizing giving - how pleasant.
Now about gamability ...
