Back from the continent

Just a quick note to say that I made it back from Athens, Brussels and Paris aok and well rested.

I grabbed a weekend in Athens with my sister who is sailing for three weeks on the Greek government funded Aegean Sea Regatta. They have an awesome racing boat - the IMX 38' all kitted out and raring to go - I have high hopes for an aussie victory to match that in the Admiral's cup recently!

I met Cynthia in Athens and then headed back to Paris via Brussels to meet the lovely Cyn and Elle in Paris. I hadn't been in my adult life and I am pleased to report that it is indeed beautiful and magical. Then it was a quick TGV over to Britanny for a quiet few days in the country - cycling cooking and all the good things in life.

There will be many things coming out of this trip for the blog and I look forward to typing away in the coming few days. But for now suffice it to say that Virgin Express rockz, Thalys (Low country train service) customer service is almost unbelievably poor and Arabic electronica is fan-bloody-tastic.
