Just got back from a brilliant weekend with Mel in the City. Ankeen was also down which was fun. Nothing like introducing the girlf to old friends ;)
Managed to eat my fill of tuna and carpaccio. Both salmon and emu carpaccio, as we hit up “Eight Mile Creek” which is a Aussie restaurant downtown. Not that I ever really ate that back home, but it is fun.
Saw Kill Bill. It’s great. Happily plot doesn’t get in the way of seeing it again for the action and wicked anime section.
Got to get stuck into the PDF-MP3 metadata project that I’m working on. I’m blogging about it on themp, which stands for Metadata the MP3 way. I was always crap at program names ;)
This weekend followed my annual evaluation which was last Friday. Something about focusing in on a dissertation topic. What, already? I guess it has to happen but I’m having so much fun working on a bunch of things that it seems a crying shame to foreclose any of them …
