Learning about web design

I’ve been hand-coding html for many years now but frankly I can’t make anything look good anymore. I guess it is time to learn CSS and all the other niceities.

Afterall this page is still basically on the default template which I dislike but find hard to edit. And my other shining examples of web development are similarly handicapped.

The wireless grid project was mine to start with, but is now in the hands of a more competant person (and is starting to make progress, although those lovely tables are still hanging around!

But if you want a company that specializes in teaching business english in singapore—-English4Global.biz E4gb is run by Judy Howison (this is the brackets where I would usually say no relation, except that, of course, this is my Mother ;) That’s pure 1998 tables design baby.

Not quite so pure because it is now hooked into a service for yacht brokers in the Asia Pacific is Bob’s site for yachts and boats in Singapore—-HowisonMarine.com. I keep looking throught the for-sale pages wondering which one he’s going to buy. But so far, no such luck ;(

Anyway. Stay tuned for an update to this site as I learn soething about what’s been happenning in web development in the last, say, 5 years!
