Getting away ...

So I’ve got one more week in the 315 till I head off to Seattle for the ICIS conference where we’re presenting a paper from my research on Open Source Software—-The paper is an enquiry into the concept of Success in Open Source software projects. I’m also giving a short “research in progress” chat on our Social Network Analysis of Sourceforge bug reports. Both the papers are available on Kevin Crowton’s FLOSS research page

Once that is done it is off to Singapore to do tech support for the parents :)

Then we’re heading down to Indo to chill at the Bintan Lagoon resort, just Me, Kate, Bob, Jude, Granny and Great Aunt Margaret (the Scottish Twins). Whoohoo. We have the Angsoko Villa (on the right) for those trying to address the Chrissie presents! Some pics for yah snowed in types. Looks pretty fine.

Apparently it is cheap now that the terrorists scared people away from Indo! Good one Judes. Glad that it is guaranteed SARS free too.
