Endless Sunshine

The Endless Sunshine of a spotless mind is a fucking awesome film. Really really very good.

And why shouldn’t it be, afterall it is written by Charlie Kaufman who also wrote Being John Malkovic and Adaptation. Strangely he didn’t write Memento, which I could have sworn was by the same author!

In any case my immediate reaction is to run home and donate some fan money to Kaufman. I guess I’ve been downloading my entertainment for too long. I wonder if Charlie would find my impetus insulting?

So much for the annoying stunt man interview that the Mall plays before every film. “Steal a candy from a store, or download a movie, it is the same” 1. No it is not. 2. I pay to go the movies, why must I be subjected to this advertisement everytime I go?

ps. I love the disclaimer on the Kaufman site:

All images, script excerpts etc. are copyright of their authors, film company and/or the publications that the photos, excerpts and/or articles appeared in. Oh, you know what I mean. No infringement intended. This is a non-profit site, so please leave me alone.
